Thoughts on "My Heart Belongs To Daddy"

Bree/Andrew/Danielle/George - Again the most discussion worthy topic this season. I found myself siding with Andrew a lot more than I thought I actually would do. Goerge certainly knows how to play Bree and it's sad to see her being manipulated by the guy. Although Andrew is far from saintly, he's the lesser out of two evils when it comes to him and George though.

Susan/Mike/Zach/Edie - Obvious from the get go but not as boring as other plots this season I understood and condemned Susan in this episode. She's right to want to protect Julie and the way Zach was obsessing over her, I can see why she'd rather him in Utah but she should've told Mike that she made contact with Zach. This one will come back to bite her in the ass. Edie needs more to do as well.

Lynette/Tom/Parker - A little cheesy of a storyline but the imaginary friend thing isn't totally unbelievable. I loved the banter with Lynette and Tom and Tom is increasingly becoming a favourite of mine this season.

Gabrielle/Carlos/David - Why is everyone so against Gabby getting her conjugal visit? Even Carlos was at the beginning. The opening scene was a riot though and Carlos touching Gabby's stomach was a nice touch. The writers made it way too obvious that smug lawyer David is hot for her though. Not another affair please.

I liked this one a lot although last week's was better. Good opening and end narrations from Mary Alice and a break from the Applewhite mystery. 8/10.

Review and quotes tomorrow.

he a lot more down-to-earth less stressed then lyneete but i'm hating lynette this season-i find her very manipulative and becoming despised as Edie.

Well this episode was interesting to say the least, Susan tell Zac to find his father because he was still interested in her daughter. I thought that was a bit under-handed. Parker imaginary friend was amusing especially umbrella that he took with him everywhere.

Still Lynette doesn’t know when to quit doesn’t she, I mean there has to be a line you shouldn’t cross with your kids at the end she was crying because of what she done. Tom doing a good job with the kids. He seem to be coping fine.

Gabby, well convict were nice helping her out with lawyer and I have to wonder how carols is actually going to get out of jail, he been in jail for a couple of months and I’m glad gabby didn’t sleep with lawyer. You have to actually respect she trying faithful to her husband.

I do but the lawyer (David is his name) seems awfully eager to get his wicked way with her and self control isn't Gabby's speciality. Still though she's been more enjoybale to watch this season than Susan, so that's a plus.

This eppy was definately a return to form for the series. It was just so enjoyable to watch. The Applewhite storyline has, so far, not really interested me at all, while I think all the other housewives' storylines this week were far more interesting:

Gabrielle causing the prison riot was one of the best teasers of the show, I think (a big improvement on last week's 'fantasies'), and it was so nice to see her stay true to her marriage and to see her and Carlos get along for once. I have a feeling it won't last though.

Susan's storyline was interesting also. It was good to have Zach back in the story, because he's far more scary than the Applewhite mystery. Still no sign of Paul though. I'm wondering if he'll ever come back.

George was an absolute horror this episode. It's great the writers and the actor can get us to hate him to the point of me actually liking Andrew! Bree was so foolish though. Why she couldn't have put off opening the present until after Andrew's race I don't know.

Lynette's storyline was the best, in my opinion. Did anyone else find the running over of Mrs Mulberry funny? I know I shouldn't laugh at these things but...

Still not enough of the housewives meeting up though. I miss their poker games. But overall this is a big improvement 9/10

lynette for me, has trully blosomed this season with the humourous material shes had, i was in hysterics last week with the mouse and then again this week with the imaginary friend. i especially laughed at this line

"Because of me, my son’s imaginary friend got crushed by a garbage truck. I am the worst person in the world."

Though i would like more, lynette at work. have to love stu!

That is happening. Lynette's work dynamic will play more into the season especially in the next two episodes.
