this is SUCH a good idea! i think the main reason this forum isn't any busier is because people are scared off by all the SPOILER threads and people posting spoilers in non-spoiler threads... Please Channel 4 listen!

I think it would be a good idea if there were more people using these forums. They are very quiet; normaly only 2 or 3 people on at the same time even in the evenings. At the moment I don't see the need for seperating everything. But I do think people should but spoiler warnings and post in white.

I know exactly what you mean, this is half the reason we cannot get more people to visit the forum. They are in fear of spoilers or getting shouted at for posting the wrong sorts of things on the forum.

Yeah you deffinatly need more posters, hopefully you will have an extra one after tonight (me lol). But I'm not sure how you would increase you 'poster' count... maybe you could put a link to this forum in your sig(s)?

Yes I agree that it is a good idea, as there is a thread saying tonights episode, now I am an E4 viewer but missed last weeks E4 so is that thread about C4 or E4?
The forum needs more people on it before the mods will do anything and every programme could argue that they need three forums! Invasion and ER only have one and they both have "1st Looks" I think this forum needs time to develop!

This thread needs to be listened to. I have noww had part of episode 6 ruined because of one thread for both spoilers and non spoilers. Please listen C4 admins!

The forum works perfectly fine, its the people who use it who are the problem! It should be one strike and you are out!
The same thing happens over at the main Lost forum, people not only post spoilers without a spoiler warning but they put spoilers in the title of the thread so they are unavoidable!
People put Episode threads up, think it is Dark/light who does it here, the discussion for that episode should remain there until it has been aired on C4!
I only joined the forums when Lost started but know that people have left because of Spoilers! Lets not let that happen here!

It would be nice to have a spoiler free forum where, like Lost, the conversation is limited to episodes that have been shown on C4 only. However I doubt it will happen any time soon unfortunately, unless a lot more people start posting here and hassle the mods for a seperate board. Seperate threads for spoilers I have no problem with, it's when spoilers are contained in a thread's title that I get annoyed. But maybe one day there will be - we can hope!

I have emailed them, but I am hoping they will at least try it... as it could attract more members. Alot of people dont visit here in fear of spoilers. If there wasnt a spoiler free lost forum, would you still go there?

hmmmm....I really like talking about Lost but the main forum is crammed full of spoilers, so I don't think I could stick to that forum. I would try and make some discussions on the OT forum but it wouldn't be the same. If I was just joining the forums and there wasn't a s/f forum I might well not bother visiting the forums actually. But fortunately there is! Good luck with your campaign in e-mailing the mods
