Please can someone explain to me exactly why BB takes up most of the C4/E4 schedule and we have to wait until the Autumn until Desperate Housewives returns? I'm sure that at least E4 could find some time to show it. It's not as if BB live will be missed for that amount of time by the boring people with no lives.
I'm so annoyed that they could treat their viewers this way. I am aware that due to unforeseen circumstances they believed they would not have the remaining shows, but if they can fit in a re-run of shameless for an hour at 10 on E4, then they can fit DH somewhere.

You have half the story already! The bit about "due to unforeseen circumstances they believed they would not have the remaining shows."
Basically, C4s TV scheduling has to be done months in advance, and as they didn't know they would get the episodes, they couldnt just put DH in and hope they got them! So thats why there is a delay.

Even though their planned months in advance they could be easily changed. Big Brother needs to hurry up and end.

theres other stuff on and it'll be back soon i know loads of people are gutted but like think of what the bb fans would say if it was cancelled for dh ahah bb is actually quite a laugh ehhehehe anyway ayayhhh

Why is it that the Republic of Ireland could show the entire series on their terrestrial channel but Channel 4 couldn't? There are only a few episodes left that we in the UK haven't seen. It's scheduling like this that makes me forget about a show and when it comes back on I can't be bothered to watch it because I've become interested in something else. It isn't all down to the writers strike in the USA.

well thats your problem if you don't want to watch it when it comes back on.
