Yeah, he's Scottish and that's exactly what I thought, why wasn't he just Scottish as his accent makes Dick Van Dyke's cockney accent in Meeerrrry Poopinnns sound good.
The Americans like an English accent though.

yeah i know when we went to new york with family women kept swooning over my brother in law every time he spoke and he is nothing to look at
