Susan/Ian/Daria/Graham/MIke - I actually liked this plot a bit more than usual. Ian's dad being a crossdresser and his mum being privy was pretty funny but when it comes to Susan and Ian this episode set up the neccessary divide between them. Susan is reluctant to marry otherwise she wouldn't been cagey around the pre-nup and Ian clearly hates her helping Mike in anyway possible. Also can we meet Ian's big gay brother.
Carlos/Edie/Travers - Edie using her kid as sex bait is tasteless so once again Carlos is justified in taking the moral highground but he might want to remember that he isn't whiter than white himself. Edie's stripping felt like that Harper/Joe scene in Angels In America and despite some naff dialogue, I think Nicolette Sheridan delivered it well enough and I actually like the idea of Edie and Carlos having a relationship. If Gabby can have several, why can't Carlos?
Gabrielle/Samantha/Victor - Ugh, the dress thing would play a big roloe with this plot obviously. Gabby and Edie coming back from shopping at the beginning was surreal but nice. Gabby fawning over the dress was alright but hardly riveting. The incident with Samantha in the bathroom felt a little contrived but could've been worse and Victor's attitude towards women and materialism makes him a perfect match for Gabby in every way. I will gladly take Victor over Zach any day of the week.
Lynette/Tom - Yet again I side with Tom and yet again, I knew that him and Lynette working together would be a bad idea. Lynette needs to get a grip. Fighting over uniforms seem a little pathetic and how amazing that Tom putting his back out would be the thing that would get Lynette to put her pettiness aside and wear the damn uniform.
Andrew - With all his family gone, I wish he was given something interesting to do and fast. Him being a co-operative Scavo employee doesn't make for compelling television.
Rating: 6/10.
Lynette: “You speaking as my husband or my boss?”
Tom: “Definitely as your boss”.
Ian: “I’m not like my father”
Susan: “Trust me he’s not”.
Victor: “It looks like it cost a bundle”
Gabrielle: “Trust me it was a steal”.
Lynette (to Tom): “If you leave me with a mortgage and a restaurant and five kids I swear I will track you in the deepest pits of hell and make you pay. Do you hear me?”
Edie (to Carlos): “I might not be the woman you thought under that but I’m real and I’m here and I’m asking for a chance”.
