Dunno if any1 here was affected by the explosion but if u were hope ur all ok!

What happened?

a fuel depot exploded in hemel hempstead - it's lucky that only one person is still in hospital (obviously not for them) but i've just seen it on the news and firefighters say it'l still be ablaze for 2 to 3 days. there's a huge cloud of smoke over lots of the south-east apparently. And ilovejoey (hope ya don't mind me calling ya that - just tell me if ya want me 2 call ya by your real name) i live up north so i'm fine and it's nice to see you care. Hope you ( and anyone else ) havn't been affected.

Yeh, heard the news when I woke up-hope everyone is okay! They said that the blast could be heard 100 miles away but it musn't be in my direction-I live about 100 miles to the south east.xxx

it was reli scary!!! i heard a massive blast at 6am it was reli weird but i thought i was dreaming and went back 2 sleep lol!!! i can see all the smoke from my classrooms n every so often we could see fire sparks coming off of it which was tiny 2 us but must of been massive there. We r lyk the onli skl in hertforshire that was in skl 2day!!! was soooooo annoying! every1 complained it was such a funni day but one of hte boys from my year had an asthma attack coz of it - he's ok now thnk g-d tho!

u'd actually be surprised how fun it is 2 watch smoke! all the foam stuff landed in r skl coz of the wind direction 2day n they STILL wont let us leave

lol there was a house fire at the bottom of my street recently and we were stood outside watching it for ages

lol fire can be fun (you know when it doesn't kill people...). We used to always melt our pens into cool twisty shapes in chem last year.

yeah they were fine - luckily the firefighters got there in time and it didn't spread anywhere ( it was started in the kitchen and they managed to keep it contained)

thats ok then!!! - apparently they got the fire out but it re exploded again just after they stopped it....which is bad 4 the firefighters n ppl round it but quite funni if u think about it!!! lol!
