Hi. Ive never been on this board before despite being a heeeeeyaaaawwge Friends fan but ever since the episode "The one where monica and richard are just friends" was on recently where joey and rachel swap favourite books, something has been bugging me.
Now anyone who has read the book Little Women (which is my fave) can help. I just wondered whyyyyy Rachel tells joey that beth dies and laurie proposes to jo and doesnt accept and then he marries amy becuase this DOESNT HAPPEN in the book!!!! However, it DOES happen in a film adaptation of Little women. Now ive never read the other 2 Louisa M alcott books so i wonder if it happens in them BUT thats not the point, it doesnt happen in little women. So do we know why rachel would say this to joey? or could it have been some bad research by the writers????
