In the very first episode when they're all sat in the coffee house, Rachel comes in wearing her soaking wet wedding dress, then chandler says '...and I've just won a million dollars!'

I don't get it.

Ross says "i just want to be married again" just before rachel come in wearing the wedding dress (bride/married u get it!)...so chandler makes a joke out of this and says "and i just want a million dollars" and looks expectantly at the doorway waiting for it to come through!

in the one where they play footy in the park, before tehy go out joey says something and chandler replies "and then Tineals"

what or who is Tineals?

There was a married couple in the 70's called someone Captain and someone Tennille. They were a famous pair for their loved up nature. Don't know quite why its funny or relevant in friends- especially to that script anyway. They also released a song together called 'Love will keep us together'

I dont get it. whats omnipotent, and what did Joey fink they ment?

omnipotent means all powerful- as if you could do anything that you wanted.

Joey confused it for a word which means having no use of his reproductive organ- i'm not sure what the word is though!

He thought they meant impotent. When I was younger I didnt understand that either!!

In the first episode of the 10th series (I think), at the very beginning when Ross and Charlie are 'making out', they stop because Ross decides he needs to speak to Joey.
Why did Ross say "Grandma... Grandma..." before he stood up to go?

well charlie had got him a little turned on, because they were fooling around, so he was thinking unsexy thoughts i.e his grandma, so he wouldnt be so turned on anymore, and he could then go and talk to Joey

At the end of series 2, Joey has got that audition where he has to kiss a guy and the director is Warren Batey(??). Pheebs says 'What does Warren Batey know about kissing'. Chandler and Monica give her a knowing glance and she says 'oh yeah duh!'

Is warren batey some renound kissing expert or something??

Warren Beattie is a famous Hollywood leading man, thats all the glance alludes to. Not being a big fan of old Warren as a kid, or now come to think of it, the only film I have seen him in is Dick Tracy opposite Al Pacino's Big Boy Caprice. Madonna was the love interest in that film as well as some ohter chick that I can't remember the name of.

1. When Ross is dating Elizabeth, Joey says something about when he's 80 he'll still have the memory to go out with a 20 year old. I've thought and thought about this and I don't understand!

2. In the London ones, it might have been a deleted bit, Chandler has condoms and Joey asks why the writing is in Spanish.

3. When Erica is pregnant, and they find out the murderer couldn't be the father, Chandler asks "Was it the thing we don't do very often or the thing we never do?" We could only work out what one of them was...

I no that the first one is because joey is saying that elizabeth is so young that when ross is 80 she will only be about 20!

Bolton_girl, I answered that question, read my post above. Maybe its just a guy thing to get that joke. The thing with the juice, I'm not sure what you mean, but I'll watch it tonight and comment tomorrow.

Little Shakespeare, Chandler thinks Joey should bend over as it alludes to Joey being shafted by the guy that took all their stuff as opposed to Joey beating him up. He is basically telling Joey he was outsmarted.
