I downloaded 4oD on my computer a few months ago and it didnt work at all, it has now made my computer run really slowly so I tried to remove it from the computer and it wont work! Has anyone else had this problem or could anyone give any advice on how to get rid of it?!

Is khost.exe still running on your system? If so you just need to run kclean.exe, there's a link to it on my blog, just follow the link in my signature.

Please follow the steps below in order to remove 4oD:

Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

4oD should be listed near the top. Click the Remove button and follow the steps to uninstall 4oD.

If you experience problems uninstalling then please follow the steps:

Please be aware that the following steps involve removing 'Kontiki'. Removing 'Kontiki' may affect the installation of other similar programmes such as BBC iPlayer and SKY Anytime.

1. Go to Start > Run...

2. Type the following into the Run dialog: 'cmd'.

3. Click 'Ok'

4. Highlight all of the line below, right click on it and choose Copy.

"C:\Program Files\Kontiki\KHost.exe" -u -p 4od1

5. Right click in the black Command Prompt Window and choose Paste, then hit the Enter/Return button

6. Wait for the prompt to reappear

7. Attempt to uninstall 4oD again. Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

8. Check that the application has been removed.
