My 4od is exactly the same, yet I am having no problems with normal internet or bbc i player for example. It is so annoying!!! What is the reason for it running so slow?
Yep, same here. Connection speed is fine. But when ever i click anything at takes about a minute to do anything... eg. clicking links and opening player windows.
I assume that the problem is when they wrote the code that makes everything work, they have had to include a lot of work arounds, this is to be expected in software labelled as "beta" but there is nothing we can do. It is a problem a lot of people (if not everyone) will experience.

Because they have written code that makes it work but only just, it will probably be long and complex and often run repeatedly using resources currently in use by other parts of the program. This will mean that portions have to wait until the resource is available and queues will undoubtably develop, as this is amongst the first software written (possibly by someone within channel 4 themselves) it can be seen as a learning curve.
Give it time and they will iron out all the problems.
