1. The installation isn't clean. I got reports from Norton Antivirus about a script, and an error message at the end of the install (unfortunately I didn't make a note of it). It seems to run however.
2. The interface is truly appalling. The *very* first thing you should realise is that people will be wanting to use it on their TV (like me). So, either make the fonts *much* bigger, or allow users to change the font size (like the BBC iPlayer).
In the end I managed to get it to download for me, but these two problems must be addressed for this service to take off. People will not be happy about installing software that seems to be picked up as a virus; and people will not be happy about having to fight through a cluttered, confusing interface.
Oh, and I just read something about my PC possibly being used to upload as part of a peer-to-peer service. Is this true? If so it should be advised UP FRONT and, more importantly, I'll be uninstalling it immediately.
