Please help me! I've tried loads of things and I just can't find the answer. My error details:

Error 1720.There is problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support or personnel or package vendor. Custom action C4oD...

Help? Do I have to download a specific thing. I have all the requirements for a 4oD.
I tried downloading the windows installer.
HELP!

I have exactly the same problem too. I downloaded and installed, got error 2738, found the solution to that on this site and it seemed to be installing fine, then I hit this 1720 error and have got no further.
Seems, however, no one has the solution to this one, so my hopes of installing 4od have halted

I have the same problem too, it must be something in the upgrade package if everyone is havin the problem. I have sent them 4 emails and even tho it says they will reply within 24 hours i still havent got a reply after 3 days, its really annoying when you want to download something new!!

I have managed to get 4oD to install but it's not working properly. When I go to download a program it gets to the "Starting your download now..." page and does nothing from there. No option to go back or do anything and the download never happens. I also contacted tech support on thursday evening and still have heard nothing (4 days). The current 4oD is a beta version so there may be problems with it, but they don't seem to be comunicating with us about how to solve them.

Well i least i know i'm not the only one having this problem then! Yeah i sent an email last week and got a reply the day after, which didn't help in the slightest. in this email i was told to email back if i had any more problems, so i did and i haven't received a reply in 4 days now either!

I had the same problem but 4od support got back to me and asked me to upgrade my Microsoft scripting thingy:

THE SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to share with u my solution to the error1720 - well what worked for me anyway.

I had a earlier version of 4OD and when i upgraded the version id get the error. what u need to do is uninstall the version u had before but it probably aint in ur add/remove programmes list. so click this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 where on that page u can download a microsoft cleanup which when its installed will give u list of programmes when u open up the cleanup programme which will be in ur "start" then "programmes".
on the list then u should find 4OD so then delete it. and then i went back to 4OD website n downloaded it and it worked.
