I have been using 4oD for weeks now since last night I cannot view any streaming programs...

I can log in and browse away through all the programs.... but when I want to watch something the screen loads with the image of the two sandy feet and then freezes and the window closes....


any ideas?

I've tried doing a rollback on my pc, nothing works... Bah!

I have a similar problem

It seems to be with Hill Street Blues Series 1-4 only though

The adverts run OK then the screen just disappears

There are two resolutions available in the FAQs but neither has any effect on my PC

I've reported it twice

I've been emailing the support team with this problem for over a month now. I've had about 3 replies from them, all were not helpful at all and were just things ive already read on their support pages. It was the stuff to do with downloading new security components, and they also got me to delete flash player and reinstall it. I even searched the DRM folder but mine doesnt contain anything, so their solution with deleting the contents and redownloading them doesn't apply to me. This program is crappy, there is nothing wrong with my pc, it's this program that's screwed. It annoys me so much that a friend of mine with brand new windows vista can run this program and I have nearly the exact same set-up and mine don't work.

Yeah, I can download/stream everything but HSB, so it's not my PC that's at fault

For those of you with problems regarding Hill Street Blues, We have identified an issue with Series 1-4 and currently investigating. We hope to have this resolves ASAP. I will post again once this has been resolved.

Losso87 - please can you advise more details of your problem. What AV sofware do you have?

I am trying to watch shameless series 3,
Everytime I open it, the two feet in the sand appear and then it closes.

Apologies, The technical team have been investigating and are still working on resolving the viewing problems with Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere.

As soon as this has been confirmed as resolved, I'll update.

The issues with Hill Street Blues has now been tested and resolved. The player no longer closes after the adverts on each episode.
