About a week ago my computer all of a sudden went really slow, so slow you couldn't even use it.. (It has never done this before.)
After a week of looking for problems, running virus checkers etc, I remembered this all started after I clicked the 4OD button, but it never opened, the programme never started.
So basically I uninstalled 4OD, and it was fine again!
But occasionally the problem recurs and I have to reinstall 4OD, the uninstall it again and the problem is gone.
Something is still on my computer. I think its that Khost thing. As it wont let me delete it from my programme files. It says it may be in use? why? Ive uninstalled 4OD, why is that still there and running..
Anyone had the same experience? Is there a way to get rid of the Khost programme?
There's a program called KClean.exe that will (mostly) remove the Kontiki software from your computer. The BBC used to host a copy of it, but have now taken it down for some reason. Fortunately Sky still distribute it - google for "kclean" and look about three hits down.
