HI i am trying to dl 4od. all the criteria were ticked in the list so in theory i should be able to download it without any problems. however when going through the installation process a step that is not in the 4od guide hapens and it starts downloading and configuring microsoft.net framework. it has been configuring for like 45 mins now and im guessing its not actually doing much. anyone any idea why it is dong this and how i can download it without any of these problems?

.Net 2.0 is required so it gets installed if you don't already have it. It can be quite a slow install but 45 mins sound a bit much unless you have a fairly slow machine.

If it fails you could try installing the .net framework manually first. Just do a search for '.Net framework 2.0' and it should be one of the first links. Once this is done then try 4oD again.
