Whenever I try to install or open 40D I get the same error message then it fails to open.

"Delivery Manager Service has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

It was working fine just before Xmas, I have no idea what happened to the damn thing. Got the same error with Iplayer, uninstalled that when they started streaming then a few weeks later 40D goes the same way.

Me too. Why couldn't Channel 4 make this as easy as the BBC iPlayer? Even ITV catchup is straight forward, only drawback is that you have to use IE.

Please reinstall 4oD
Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
4oD should be listed near the top. Click the Remove button and follow the steps to uninstall 4oD.
Next download the latest setup file from http://www.channel4.com/4od/installer/channel4_on_demand.exe
Open this setup file to install 4oD again.
Please ensure that KService.exe and KHost.exe are added as exceptions to your antivirus, spyware and firewall software and allowed full access to the internet.
Sometimes security software mistakenly blocks KService.exe (Delivery Service Manager) and KHost.exe but they 100% safe services that are essential to 4oD.

I have done this and it does work but after a while it will then have the same problem again and again. I'm sorry but I dont want to have to uninstall and then reinstall every time I want to use 4OD.

Any more suggestions?
