Has anyone won the £250,000? I'm sure no-one has, but my brother says that a prog on bbc2 last week showed some-one winning it???? I'll be gutted if it has been won and I missed the show!!!
I seriously doubt whether anybody would win that. Only if the other box was £100k and the person was a real gambler. And the banker would have to make an offer of about £185k. So the person would have to chance losing £85k.
I can't see this scenario happening, not for a long time. Maybe once in 5 years.

What you saw was a clip from an early show which showed the audience applauding as the 250k was revealed - in other words, after the player had dealt! I thought at the time that would confuse a few people if they saw it out of context!
