I liked the bit: "Now we have a sophisticated audience we must show our workings". In that case I'd hate to have seen the programme BEFORE they had their sophisticated audience.
Also, the implication is, if the audience wasn't sophisticated, they would feel they didn't have to show their workings?

The rationalist, did you also like the bit that the chief executive of Endemol UK said, 'If the format is good, whatever happens, then we can show it'? Hardly the words of someone trying to cover up dodgy wrong doings or a fundamentally flawed format.

Couldnt have put it better myself PP old bean!!!
You can lead a horse to water........ but a pencil must be lead!!
Personally i would like to know what the amount was that the adjudacator failed to put in the box. Do you think we will find out? It could have been highly significant to the game, maybe a case of opps forgot to put the £250,000 in a box
When we were at the recording, at the end of the show they done 2 retakes because of problems with the microphones, they resealed the boxes and filmed as though it was the first time, you could not tell this had been done when the show was aired, this could have easily been done with this error but Endemol chose not to. Well done.

This is the same person who says DOND has a sophisticated audience ROFL SROFL
What about the strong possiblity this was a double bluff - to silence the doubters who thought people who fiddle the phone ins are not honest ! How could the "adjudicator" forget what she was doing. The programme is tired and they try new tricks to keep it alive. Including - make the contestant grovel and treatening minute future offers - what next Still - better than the lucky hat !!!
Do you know what, Willie Eckerslike, I think you are the vicar. Are you? You wouldn't lie to me now would you......?[/QUOTE]
I've had a quick look at Willie's posts to try and see why you think that Posh. I've noticed he posts alot on Soaps and Dancing on Ice. Think I've come to a different conclusion!
I will look forward to your deductions Sherlock Paws! Had a good time, went to the Cotswolds but did a bit of touring. Went to Oxford [I'm a Morse fan] which was amazing, did all the pretty villages and finished off at Warwick Castle. Best of it was - it didn't rain!
Sherlock Paws! I like that. I didn't know Willie had posted on those other forums you said, sounds like you've been doing your own bit if detective work Bunbry

What makes you think that, PP?
Ooooh, let me see, a couple of snippets of information plus some female intuition . Am I right?
Nearly, I am a Church of England minister, but I am not the Vicar on DOND - for a start, I am female! I am, however, interested in what led you to those thoughts.....
Thanks for your answer, Willie, and seeing as you've come clean I suppose I will have to. Firstly it was your ID, with 'Will he heck as like' being a northern expression and the vicar having a northern accent (I think!). Secondly, it was your post on my thread about the gambling vicar, you obviously were talking like someone 'in the trade' so to speak. Then you also commented on us now knowing what day the vicar's game is on this thread, so I put all those things together and came to the wrong conclusion!
