Hi DOND fans, long time no see!

What a stupid stupid programme this Goldenballs is! Must be dirt cheap for ITV to make as hardly anybody ever splits! I mean, would you? I know I'd rather go home with nothing than sit back and watch the other person do me over!

Bring back Carrot confidential!

Deal or no deal is better! Nod I saw a bit of it the other day. Just people having a row. They all get on well on deal no deal.

Deal or no deal?

yes they have, can't remember what thread but it was mentioned that a contestant was missing from the show, a contestant came on and said she had been asked to leave due to her bad behaviour. I'm sure it was on the last series

I remember a contestant suddenly disappearing with no explanation on the show, but I hadn't discovered the delights of this forum then so I never knew why it had happened.

To Klee1505
Don't panic, it took them about 4 weeks to forward the address details, times etc after my phonecall. As long as you have your date you should be fine. If it starts to get close though i would contact the DOND audition office. Hope that helps

I like the concept of Golden balls but it don't half drag on. It's really boring being that long. I don't like the split or steal bit at the end as hardly anyone ever splits. Deal or No Deal is better because there is a nice family feel to it. Plus Noel is much funnier than Jasper!

Also, Jasper's lines are the same every game. I know Noel's are but they change them a bit and they're delivered in different ways which makes them better. Smile

When I started this thread I was enjoying the game, it was before contestants became ruthless, it got too painful to watch so haven't watched any games this series. Disappointed

There is a problem which 'Golden Balls' faced which 'DOND' doesnt (not being biased)
Because; on 'golden balls' 99% of the people have the 'steal' attitude, people think 'Hey, you might aswell steal because then atleast the other guy/girl doesnt go away with anything and if they 'split' they get half, and they may think later, I wish i stole however, with DOND, saying 'Deal' and 'No deal' adds so much climax, and there isnt really a fixed attitude. there are 50% gamblers and 50% dealers and cautious people, it doesnt not reply heavily on two people, it relies on the content of their box, and the sequence of the values being revealed.
In summation, the golden balls scenario isnt very good, as it doesnt really add much climax, it does somestimes though.

I have to agree Rosebud, even when there is plenty for two to share, they steal and it is awful to watch people lie through their teeth then double cross someone who trusts them. I don't know if it is the right message to be sending?

YIKES!!
