The banker used the egg gimmick to avoid giving him an increased 3rd offer after he had a good round. The offer should have gone up by 8 - 10 k at that point but didn't.
The 6pm show is probably not on cos it's bank holiday. Matty also swapped his box at the 2nd offer - he had box 3 but box 17 was his "lucky" box and he was desperate to have that one. It turned out that box 3 contained 50k and box 17 had the 1p.
Oh NOOOOOOOO! I also watch the More4 rerun.....not on tonight! Followed this thread and now know the outcome...Matty gave so much to the other shows, with his opinions, his wise cracks, that is so sad.. Does anyone know when it is aired again?!?! Wish I had recorded it now tt!
Hey! Rosebud!! You have given me an idea! i wasnt sure in what to study for university...but Psychology is now on my list!! Thanks!! I really mean it! Now its between: Drama, science (medicine) , and now Psychology. Its good to have more of an option, because then I can attempt 3 things, and if I fail at one, try the next ...and once again thanks rosebud, a very good idea!!

usman, Just send me the royalties when you are a famous Pschologist, psycho analysing the rich and famous. Seriously I found phychology interesting, I had lots to do with in my career as a senior phychriatic nurse. That is maybe the reason I see different reasons why the contestants act the way they do.
