Hi peeps!

If there was a shop that purely specialised in nostalgia, what produce would you expect it to sell? ...say you walk into it and you go back in time...like Mr Benn's shop..for those who can remember that show?

I'll start:

Cabbage patch dolls
Spirograph
Slinky
Bunty annuals and comics
K Tel household items
Slinky
Sindy
Tiny Tears

And if a light bulb went out at work you just stood on a desk and replaced the bulb instead of reporting it and waiting for three highly trained technical officers to come with a step ladder, rubber boots and a voltmeter! Smile

I always did that, and also left it running recording John Peel's programme on Sunday afternoons, because it was always tea time and in those days if you were "little" and could walk you never missed Sunday tea time!! I think I had a direct lead from the back of the radio to the tape recorder input, which was obviously better than putting the microphone in front of the radio speaker. Then during the next few days I would cut and splice the tape to keep the bits I wanted.
I've still got that tape recorder, actually, but don't have my own recorded tapes anymore, just some that I recently bought on the internet. And incidentally I am still little, ha ha ha!!

I can't hop for toffee and I always ping when I should pong and vice versa. I don't know about the naked part either - Jo Brand for example should definitely stay fully clothed at all times.

Drunken Monopoly sounds good, especially thinking about the spoonerisms that people tend to say when they are drunk, and trying to remember who's go it is gets bad enough when you're sober!! Smile
