In my class there are some excellent writers who have been hawking there finished books round publishers for years. One chap in the class has had meetings with the BBC with his scripts, yet no one has had any notable success. It's a tough industry to join and I know I will never be good enough. But I enjoy it, and like to enter writing competitions which keeps me going. I won one small short story comp and if I win anything else I'll let you know.
