Poor Matty.
Deal or no deal?

It has nothing to do with greed triumphing over intellect. Matty may have been greedy but that doesn't mean he's not intelligent! After all, if he hadn't been offered the swap at the second deal he would have had 50k and not 1p, so it wasn't obvious what was going to happen!

I think the banker shouldn't have offered him 20 grand as the second offer. He doesn't usually offer people that much until they get to at least 8 box, and Matty obviously wasn't gonna be the first person to deal at the second offer.

Anyone with half a brain could see what was going to happen, apart, that is from the poor sod who got paid one whole penny to boost channel 4's ratings. Wonder what he would have done with £35k? I bet he can't stop wondering! Classic!
If he had won some money he could have had a decent haircut.

I can't believe that you actually have to AUDITION to get on this show!
I would have thought that they have to press gang people on to it. I always thought that the producers stand outside the Bristol dole office with a big net!

Have you read the statement on the home page re: the volume of applicants for the show, I don't think they all live in Bristol.
