I thought it was really mean of him to offer £20.000 and then drop it to 18 cause he didn't like the joke, that extra £2.000 would have meant a lot to that guy.
Dropping to offer was mean, but it will stop people trying to get the offer increased like Ronnie did. It was like a different man playing once he had dealt, the smile went and all the joke stopped. I think the banker really got to him.
Hi All Just thought i would drop in and say thanks for the support and comments, Ronnie is actually my uncle, bit bias i now but i thought he played the game well, still a bit miffed like most of you with the banker.
Hi ourturkishlove, your uncle is a funny gentleman, he reminds me a bit of my uncle, full of one liners.I bet he's a sream at parties.Well done to him anyway.
Ronnie is a lovely man,I'll bet he's a lot of fun. I was really surprised when he dealt at £18.000, & the banker was really mean when he dropped the offer of £20.000,but correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't the baker say something about " not making any more offers& goodnight" & maybe that's why Ronnie dealt when he did.I could be wrong about this,& I didn't record it Can someone put me right
