The op itself appears to have worked, but other things happened while it was being done. He was in ICU and is now in High Dependency Unit. Fingers x he`ll be better soon.
So sorry to hear about your husband lilypop. It must be very worrying for you. I sincerely hope he's soon on the mend. Take care.

Smile Morning everyone. Couldn't get on yesterday due to forum maintenance. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend, weather apart! Quite sunny here this morning but rather cool for June. Just going to do a few jobs and then we're taking Mum out to lunch later. Take care everyone and speak to you soon. Wave

Good morning Lindy, Sherian, Anne and Muggy. You`re all so kind.
What makes it worse is that two of my sons are away, and the one who lives near me had an accident this week and can`t drive.Never rains but it pours.Managed to sort out transport apart from the weekend, and it gave me a kick up the btm to get on the train, so that`s one good thing.
Beautiful morning. Enjoy your day everybody. Hope your Mums are ok Lindy and Muggy. Wave

Hi all, back from sunny Portugal to howling gales. And here was me thinking it was Flaming June!
Anyway Alvor was a lovely little fishing village [that is geting touristy now] where there was little to do but enjoy the food, drink, the sun and the quiet pace of life. A great chillin' holiday.

Thanks Molson. I see you have been on your travels too. I'd love to do Oz and NZ one day but long haul really is draining which puts me off.

Hi everyone
It's sooooo windy here, it's a bit scary. Hope you're enjoying your caravan rosebud. Thanks for your good wishes about my back Molson. It's gradually improving but still painful.
Hope you all have a good evening.

Smile Morning everyone. A better day here after the gales yesterday - think we've lost a tree in the back garden - a twisted willow, as half the roofs are now on the surface. What a shame but it's still better than losing the roof of your house! Hope you all had a decent weekend and have not suffered too much from the strong winds. Been out early with the dog as my husband is back to work today (he usually takes him for the early walk when he is on annual leave), hung my washing out and done most of my jobs (I was up at 6.00 am today) so I'm hoping to watch a little tennis this afternoon. Enjoy your day and hopefully speak to you later. Take care. Hug Wave

Morning everyone! We went to our caravan this weekend Rosebud and what a nightmare! Gale force winds and torrential rain for 2 days solid! Bloody typical i say, i wonder if i can get my money back for the BBQ i bought Laugh
Hope you are all ok my lovelies. Decided to get over our house sale disaster by a bit of retail therapy, bought lovely new settee and some new dining room chairs. Gonna re paint every room basically and give the place a revamp, well if we are staying there may as well make it how we want eh x

Got a good tip at work today which you might be interested in.

If a thief ever frog marches you to a cash point and demands you take out some cash, put your number in backwards. The thief will never know, as the cash will pop out, but an alert will go off at the police station and they will send help.

Don't see how that would work. Surely the machine would reject your card if you put the wrong pin number in? Or am I being thick?
