Afternoon everyone. Another fresh & windy day up here.The sun's trying hard to come out,but not succeeding so far. Haven't managed to spot you on the show yet Gadgetman, I'm so busy writing down all the details of what's going on,that I miss some of the audience shots,but I have sky+ so I can take my time & look back at the show,when I get time. Where does all the time go ? I honestly don't know how I ever got time to work.

for all those who asked, my husbands results showed gall stones, no treatment at the moment as they are not bothering him. Thanks for those who were concerned. No more chocolate, biscuits and crisps while watching DOND he will have have fruit the same as I do

Glad Hubby got his results back Rosebud,at least they know how to treat him,if they should flare up again. . Hope he doesn't have any more problems with them.Take care.

Good afternoon Lilypop came on here in between visits from my son`s.My eldest has just been,it`s nice that we have made up..he was at a bad place at the time, now we are back to normal.

Was shocked this weekend was to find I`ve to pay £250 for cancelling my hol in June, so lost nearly £400 with nothing to show for it. Grrr

The travel agent wouldn`t accept my insurance apparently because I was having op, even though I rang the company and they said it was ok, just wouldn`t be covered for that. TA said apply after post op which was end Jan.By that time I had these other health probs and insurance was becoming difficult to get though I tried other companies, so I decided to cancel and ,I thought, lose my deposit. However when my sister in law cancelled for me this is what they said.Maybe I should have taken it up with the TA in Sept, but I did say at the time that the insurance co had ok`d it. I wasn`t dealing with it myself and think it`s a small agency in Scotland.Might have got the insurance if it had been a bigger company. My husband was rushed into hosp this week, and now home waiting for a pacemaker, so whatever happens I`d have had to cancel.Put it down to experience !!

Oh that's terrible lilypop.Makes you wonder why we pay insurance at all. It's just a licence to print money for them. I'm sorry to hear about your hubby,I hope he gets his pace maker soon & feels better for it. You are not getting it easy lilypop,but keep your chin up hen, & keep positive. to watch over you.
