Afternoon Everyone Cold,wet & windy up here today. Hope it gets a bit better for Easter Sunday,as we usually do our first bbq.of the year,hail rain or snow. It's a tradition that we've done since the kids were small. We all look forward to it,& if the weather's bad we usually do it in the garage. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Hi Muggy, Rosebud and all pals on forum. Awful weather here too and blizzards expected later. I have had a nice afternoon helping out at the Ad Agency where I worked for many years in the Editorial Department. It was lovely being back in the office but I'm glad it is only once in a while as I have really settled down to retirement. Hope you all have a lovely Easter and if going away take care. Enjoy your Easter Eggs forget the calories.

Hello , the weather is still bad here, not ventured out today, stayed in and had my fish and hot X buns, saving my Easter egg till Sunday, yes anne forgetting the calories this weekend. Enjoy your weekend everybody and all your goodies.

I was thinking the same anne, don't overdo it muggy, weather pretty well the same here, not ventured out today, have been catching up with the blankets I crochet, have sent 2 boxes to Andrea's Project Primrose. I keep in touch with her on MSN, she hasn't been too good, hope her holiday to Portugal picks her up.

Morning everyone. Thanks for your good wishes anne and rosebud - my husband is doing a lot up there (it's his weekend off due to Easter) and I'm helping as well, so we're getting there! We have about 3 inches of show here today and have booked to go out for lunch with my Mum at a place about 7 miles away, so we're hoping for a thaw before 1.00 p.m or the drive will be horrendous. Unfortunately they don't grit the roads in our village apart from the main thoroughfare so it can get a bit hairy driving, especially as we live in a cul-de-sac which is block paved and tends to get very slipper. Ah well, it'll be a bit of an adventure if nothing else!

Hi everyone HAPPY EASTER !!!Just off to start the BBQ. The weather's not very good 'tho. Was snowing earlier on,but it melted.I think there's a lot more to come. Anyway we'll do the barbie in the garage & eat indoors. Plenty of good food & wine & we don't really mind the weather. Care to join us anyone.!!!! I'd love to have been at your BBQ, Molson, but we went to my parents for Easter lunch - my mum's roast dinners are just divine. Better by far than mine!! Thanks for the invite though and hope it went off a storm, despite the weather (excuse the pun).

Thanks Peggy G. What a shame you couldn't be there,but I'll bet you enjoyed your Mum's roast dinner even better. We all had a ball, It was very cold & windy,but the snow stayed away 'til later. My Grandson arrived up from London unexpectedly, what a lovely surprise we got when he turned up at the door.He had planned it for weeks,but didn't let anyone know. We all finished up indoors,'cos even with the heater on in the garage it was just too cold,but we had plenty of good food wine & spirits to warm us up.Hope you all had a good Easter. Take care.

hello there guys hope you all had a chocolatey easter i didn,t get any nah told hubby didnt wont one and charlie to ickle to have one don,t think his gums can take it??? ..been busy over easter hubby finished off charlie,s wallpaper in nusery 3/4 there now just got to get a carpet then its just bits of stuff like shelves and things but i,m so pleased with it its a animal theme so hopefully he will get to learn about all the animals .hope youre mums good molson i sometimes wish mine lived around the corner but she is only an hour over the penninnes...you are lucky and she will think that about you anyway off to the docs this aft at least its dry hope everyone has a good day and everybody stay well xxxxxxxtake care

Hope you get on ok at the doctors linz. Charlies bedroom sounds cute, he will be able to name all the animals at the safari park when you take him, there is one about 6 miles from me. (West Midlands Safari Park). Nah I didn't get an egg either still have Christmas choccies to finish, I had a nice pair of slippers instead, can't get fat on them, Ha!! Ha!!

I told my hubby not to get me a easter egg too. So he didnt I won't say that again next year.

How did you do in your chocolate DOND game, Rosebud? Are you a chocolate quarter millionaire?!

No such luck PP, the only pounds I won on it went on my hips. On the DVD game the most I've won is £86k, still trying for the big one. No way I could go on TV and play it, my nerves would never cope these days.

I have won the 250k on the pc game(once).I`ve also won a 1p.
My grandson was playing it with my help tonight....he said to me "Nanna,i should be able to play it properly now, on tele,as i`m picking blues all the time","i can definitley go on it when i`m eight though can`t i" he`s only 5.

Hi everyone, just popping in to say a quick hello... Been pretty yuk over past several weeks so haven't been on the computer much. Had enough of feeling rubbish so taking the girls to Portugal for a week, leaving on the 29th March!! Sods law it is the second day i'll be in the audience! Think the shows i saw with my Mum are aired on the 28th and 29th... wave if you spot me!!!!! Missed you all, hope everyone has been doing better than me and you are all fighting fit... Rosebud, hope you are behaving and staying out of Hospital, shall give you a nudge for a chat before i go!
