Glad that you are feeling better now Muggy, I went to hospital today, it was ok, I have to go back in September for the 'procedure' so I'll just try to forget about it until then.

Just got date for my op today Suzi. Early Oct, to be there 7am. Yikes. Expected late Nov or Dec. Should be ok to cook Xmas lunch now .Cure for knocking knees required urgently!! Eek
Eek I'll see if I can find one for you lilypop!

Thanks Muggy. Knew I could rely on you.
I`ve done most of my Xmas shopping thinking I`d not manage it if I was done Nov/Dec, as I`ve to do very little for 3 months, absolutely nothing 6 weeks. Can`t even skive off the big dinner now..Husband`s the mince and tattie expert, so maybe just as well!!!!!!!! Roll Eyes

Wink At that time in the morning, you just might be lucky. Before I retired, I worked at our Local NHS Hospital for 10 years and unless I got to work before 8.00 a.m. there wasn't much chance of a getting a parking space, even though the staff had to pay! Good luck with your op. Just try to forget about it until the actual day if that's possible. Hug

I'm sure you'll be fine Lilypop, and good news about the parking space, it is really hard to get one at our local hospital. I should be out the same day or the day after, depending on how things go, I'd rather be at home anyway I hate hospitals. Afterwards it'll be about 10 days but could be as long as 4 weeks before I'm back to normal and then if it didn't work this time, they'll have to do it again.

Hi Lilypop, Sorry I didn't know you were having to have an op.I haven't been reading all the posts,It's been so late due to running back & forth to hospital, afternoon & evening. So please accept my apologies, I hope all goes well for you & that your op. is successful & that they don't have to do it again. The parking at our hospital is dreadful too. We had to leave 1hour before visiting & even then we were lucky to get a space.Take care Lilypop. I'll be thinking of you Angel Hug

Hi girls. Lovely here.
Op was all arranged for June Molson, but 1st surgeon sent me for 2nd opinion as my case is complicated, and 2nd one said he wanted me referred to him for the op. So popular, fighting over my bits! He`s recently started a completely new type op so fingers x. Hope he`s been getting plenty of practice in before he gets to me.Thanks for all the good wishes. Angel

Smile Hi Muggy & All, terrible weather here yesterday and today. Will be watching footy soon Man Utd v Man City. My next door neighbour comes in as she doesn't have Sky and is an avid Man U fan. She is only 84 years old! She will have her shirt and scarf on, God bless her. Have a good day Hug

Frown Afternoon everyone. Just got in from taking my Mum shopping to Asda and both got drenched just walking to the car (and that was with umbrellas). Were going out for lunch too but were too wet to go anywhere! Enjoy the rest of this miserable Sunday. Hug

Smile Hi Suzi Q, please don't worry too much. I had to have the remainder of a tooth my dentist couldn't reach out at Manchester Dental Hospital, It is a teaching hospital and I couldn't have asked for more care and attention that I received there. So here's hoping you will feel the same Hug

Frown Hi rosebud. Yes, I'm really missing my walks and also missing my son's dog. However, with the weather being pretty bad for the last few days, at least I haven't to go out and get wet through! Luckily, for the first two weeks which I had him, the weather was fine and dry with no rain whatsoever, so that was a bonus. Been to see my daughter-in-law and two lovely grandchildren today which was nice. She's learning to drive at the moment and my son's bought her a car, so she says she will be able to come and see me more often when she passes her test. My other son (the one with the westie) lives about 30 miles away so I don't see him that often. Enjoy the rest of your day Hug
