Thanks Muggy. Knew I could rely on you. I`ve done most of my Xmas shopping thinking I`d not manage it if I was done Nov/Dec, as I`ve to do very little for 3 months, absolutely nothing 6 weeks. Can`t even skive off the big dinner now..Husband`s the mince and tattie expert, so maybe just as well!!!!!!!!

Before I retired, I worked at our Local NHS Hospital for 10 years and unless I got to work before 8.00 a.m. there wasn't much chance of a getting a parking space, even though the staff had to pay! Good luck with your op. Just try to forget about it until the actual day if that's possible.

I'm sure you'll be fine Lilypop, and good news about the parking space, it is really hard to get one at our local hospital. I should be out the same day or the day after, depending on how things go, I'd rather be at home anyway I hate hospitals. Afterwards it'll be about 10 days but could be as long as 4 weeks before I'm back to normal and then if it didn't work this time, they'll have to do it again.

Hi girls. Lovely here. Op was all arranged for June Molson, but 1st surgeon sent me for 2nd opinion as my case is complicated, and 2nd one said he wanted me referred to him for the op. So popular, fighting over my bits! He`s recently started a completely new type op so fingers x. Hope he`s been getting plenty of practice in before he gets to me.Thanks for all the good wishes.

The weather is brightening up here now that I have dried all my washing in the tumble drier earlier, should have waited to see what the weather was doing, never mind we are going shopping so will not have to worry that the washing is on the line, enjoy your day also everyone else who reads this. Hi rosebud. Yes, I'm really missing my walks and also missing my son's dog. However, with the weather being pretty bad for the last few days, at least I haven't to go out and get wet through! Luckily, for the first two weeks which I had him, the weather was fine and dry with no rain whatsoever, so that was a bonus. Been to see my daughter-in-law and two lovely grandchildren today which was nice. She's learning to drive at the moment and my son's bought her a car, so she says she will be able to come and see me more often when she passes her test. My other son (the one with the westie) lives about 30 miles away so I don't see him that often. Enjoy the rest of your day
