Anyone else had good sleep lately? Hope you have.
I won't be on from today, till June! I am going to miss everyone!
I'll occasionally post though!

Afternoon everyone, hope you all had a good day. My mam was a bit emotional today but that's to be expected. The weather has been beautiful, hope it lasts. Hug

Hi everyone. Hope you all enjoyed your BH Monday. Hope your mum enjoyed her birthday Lindy - it's understandable that she was emotional, I bet you were too! Hug

We had a good day out today, when we eventually got there. We "acquired" a "stray" black labrador at the pub we went to - she was quite thin with a rope for a collar and no disc. She took to our dog and when we left in the car she followed us along a busy road. We were worried she'd be knocked over so we put her in the car. We tried a farm and some boarding kennels nearby but she didn't belong to either of those, and eventually we had to take her to the Dogs Trust at Darlington. The girls wanted to keep her!

Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone, make the most of the sunshine. Cool

Smile Morning rosebud. Sorry you had a wet Bank Holiday Monday - it was lovely here - a bit of cloud in the morning but warm and sunny in the afternoon. We've had a busy but constructive weekend in the garden and went out to lunch yesterday with Mum (her treat) so that was a nice change.
Hope everyone else on the Forum has had a decent weekend and that the sun shines on you today.
Must go, got some work to do yet. Take care. Hug Wave

Wave Hi Linz, Muggy, Rosebud and all.
Lovely to hear little Charlie is coming on won't be long before he finds his feet. Glad to hear you all had a nice weekend. We went to York yesterday and managed to park at the side of York Minster, I managed to walk round quite a bit and we had a lovely pub lunch. It was warm and sunny just like it is here today. Bye for now. Hug

Evening everyone Wave Glad to see most of you had a sunny bank holiday yesterday. It's still sunny here and I'm sitting in the conservatory with the laptop. Got home from work at quarter to 3 and hung out the washing. It's nice when you can do that in the late afternoon and still get it dry. Anyway enjoy the rest of your evening whoever comes on here later.

Hi Lindy Wave You've been a busy bee today! Is your mam ok now she's home? I just logged on to see if anybody else is on and read this thread. It's lucky I did cos it reminded me that the washing is STILL on the line, better go and get if off. I love hanging washing out but hate taking it in!! Frown

Hi Peggy, me too. I especially like hanging whites out...(how sad) it just looks so clean and makes my garden look tidy Laugh. I must do the garden when I get a minute as the weeds are terrible with all the rain.I desperately need some new plants. My mam was a little brighter today thanks Peggy. After doing her housework I made her a lovely lunch and we had a nice chat, just the two of us. She said I was an angel sent from heaven Angelhow I kept the tears back I'll never know.

Aww Lindy, that's lovely. Smile It's so nice to be close to your mum. There's nothing quite like that mother/daughter relationship. Hug Do she live quite close? Have you heard from M&S when you will be starting?

I've just got all the washing in - it was dry but starting to feel cold. I've been really lazy tonight, in fact I've still got my pinny on from making the tea!!

For those of you who don't live in the north - pinny = apron
