Hi carwash, my audition was last year so i think it has all changed now..we were put in a big room to watch repeats of dond and then had to go to another room where we had a five minute interview and had to speak on camera for 20 seconds...but as i say i think it has all changed now.I'm sure if you keep looking someone will give you an updated one..

Helloooooooo everyone! What a fantastic day! I got through the first 60 second audition, and received a 'silver ticket'......then had a 5 minute audition, both of which were on camera.
I was there (Manchester) from 2.15pm until just after 6.00pm! It's just a waiting game now.......I'm going to be so nervous when the phone rings now.......please please please rinnnnnggggg!!!! We were told it could take up to 12 months before they ring you.........and that's only if you're successful.

Hey Gadgetman! I also had my audition yesterday in Manchester and got through to silver ticket round! I must have seen you as there weren't many of us were they? If you don't want to reveal your real name (unless that is your name lol) i understand, but best of luck waiting for that call. It was a rollercoaster of emotions all through the day but thoroughly enjoyable x
Hey I was also there but I went in the morning. I had my 1 min interview and i thought i competely botched it up. but oh no i got a silver ticket, woo hoo. I think my 5 min one went well. bout 60 of us went thru. i dint think we wer thru wen loadsmore peoplewent upstairs but i hadan inckling. i jus hope i did well and the phone rings

I had a chat with one of the producery type folk & she said they try to match people's personalities with the other contestants so thats why some people hear quickly and some don't hear for ages. I guess they don't want too many gobby ones at once - gotta give Noel a chance to speak!
