I assume you're watching the same programme that I am. I asked George Takei at the convention if any one thing apart from Star Trek changed his life. He explained that after Pearl Harbour he was about to be shipped to Japan (even though he was born in the USA!) but some humanitarian of slight acquaintance with his family stepped in and persuaded the authorities to let him stay in some sort of work camp. The decision came through the same day that he was supposed to get on board the ship. Cool
