Are you on your own? I've just got the dog for company. The girls are upstairs downloading games for this new media centre TV we've been getting and hubby is out with his mates - he's at Low Fell.

Husband's in living room watching Benidorm and my daughter's in her bedroom watching tv in peace. The media centre tv sounds really posh Peggy.

Actually it's not. It was bought as a spare for the conservatory as we had a tiny one in there and since I've joined this forum I like to sit in there with the laptop. But it's got a built in DVD player and you can use playstation games on disk, or download games from the computer onto a memory stick and play them. Needless to say there are now arguments over who's turn it is to sit in the conservatory and I'm being edged out!

Yes it does, doesn't it? It must be quite a spooky place to work in at night, especially on Halloween Ghost

I didn't want a dog. Everybody else did and they gradually wore me down. We had to make a snap decision when a friend of a friend had some puppies. I even had to look Lakeland Terriers on the internet before we went to see them. The funny thing is, I think we were meant to have Ben, as I have been tracing my family and since joining Ancestry have found out that my great great grandparents lived in the house where he was born!

Hi Peggy, I have a 16 month old black and white Jack Russell terrier called Daisy and I know she'd love to have a good wrestle with your Ben. We go for some lovely walks on the South Downs, I haven't lost her down a rabbit hole yet but had some near misses!

Wanted to say also , sorry for not picking up on what you said about your similar experience to mine yesterday evening - there were about 3 different conversations going on weren't there? Did you mean just the miscarriage bit or the bit with the medium too?

Hi Posh. I bet your Daisy is lovely. I just love terriers, they're so hardy but loving.
You're right, there were a lot of conversations going on yesterday, it was hard to keep up, but I meant both bits. The medium bit happened at a gathering (which Lindy may know about as it's quite well known at Low Fell Leisure Centre, Gateshead). He was a lovely medium and was just talking about his life, before he began the session, and he suddenly said "who does that boy belong to, he's running around the room and waving, he looks about 10". He then looked at me and said "he's waving at you, oh he's just given a huge smile and he's gone". Nothing like that has happened before or since.
Have you just had the one experience?

Hi Peggy, thanks for your story. Yes I've only had the one experience like that and I'm still not convinced now. Other people at the meeting were getting names and dates, so if the medium had come up with a name it would have clinched it for me.

I feel the same, Posh. If it had been a living person whose passing I still mourned I might have clutched at it, but like you I'm not convinced.

Anyway, on a brighter note, have you been out with Daisy today? There's something about walking a dog that makes you feel at ease with the world I think, especially in the sunshine Cool Enjoy your day - are you at work today?

Hi Peggy, yes I was out on the downs at 7.30am - doing night shifts messes up my sleep pattern, plus I knew it was going to be hot later. There were lots of other dogs up there too so Daisy had a good romp around.

Not working today but decorating so things have been getting very hot and steamy with the stripper in my kitchen! Had to stop for a drink and a rest. Hope you've had an enjoyable day out, might catch you later?
