!!!!! Hubby got some glue on a new t shirt and I can't get it out. Its like a resin that he put on the seams of the tent while we were away last week I've tried all sorts and washed about 6 times. Think its a water based type solvent but its dryed on and solid how do i get it off?? thank you in anticipation!

You could try and freeze it, or get it really cold, then it might crack off!

Try putting it in the freezer overnight, then the glue should break off next morning. Once you have got the bulk of it off, treat it with a proprietary stain remover (I like Vanish Oxy) BUT check the internet for fabric care, cos different fabrics react differently to stain removal.

Did it work? If not, try a hot iron on a flannel over the shirt stain see if it loosens it up in order to wash it out.
