My mobile rang today as i was out shopping.....it was DOND......as you know i am waiting for the call but in the meantime i had applied again.....I was so excited and the guy was most impressed that he had got someone that was so friendly on the other end of the phone.
Anyway i waited for the magical words but he said that he had my application in front of him and could i answer a couple of questions....I still was quite excited as this was DOND on the phone.....he asked if i had applied before and i told him yes and that i had an audition in 2007.....he then told me that unfortunately you were only allowed one audition.I was so sad....but then he said "well that's great,we already have you on film so keep your fingers crossed".....he was really nice,he sounded like Dermot Oleary.....so do you think i may be getting the call then as this is the second time they have phoned and i have one audition under my belt......and the answer to his question was on my application.....wouldn't you think he would have checked that before calling.

Never mind, I had put it out of my mind but now it's all i can think about Frown

I`m so pleased for you Lindy....lets hope you get picked.They do seem to ask questions off the application form...don`t know why,strange.Maybe they just want to hear how a person speaks. Smile

Lindy, that is so exciting. There must have been some reason for ringing you today, maybe they wanted to find out your reaction when called on the off chance. Anyway, whatever the reason I'm really excited for you. I hope something comes from this and I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed Thumbs Up

Hi peggy and Nan, thankyou both so much for your support,I feel a lot better that other people have seen this as a possitive....it's funny, the other day I asked the cosmos for a win on the lottery and to hear from dond,I won £10 and got a call so i do believe there is something in it. Hug

It's spooky isn't it that you won on the lottery and got the call? There's no way you can see the call negatively, there MUST be some good reason for it.

I too have to keep trying,i have sent my bankers poem to them and told them who i am on here...i`ll near enough do anything Crazy

Ooooh Lindy that's exciting. I thought I had read somewhere that you can only apply once. I don't understand why they put out the request for more applicants at the beginning of the year when they have such a huge backlog of applicants already. Good luck anyway, it's a bit cruel to contact you if nothing's going to come of it.

I bet your heart was in your mouth wasn't it Lindy??? When my phone rings and it's a witheld number i get all nervous and my audition was only in February ha ha.
I have everything crossed for you Lindy (yes everything Thumbs Up)
Apparently the wait time is upto 18 months so you have plenty of time to hear back yet, plus now you have jogged their memory of how lovely you are they may bump you up the list a bit quicker Nod

Hey i say keep them hopes up ul be on DOND by the end of 08 and if ur not try and try again hope you take my advise

Peggy on saturday I had 4 numbers on the lottery and £8 on a scratch card. This cosmic ordering works for me Thumbs Up
