I am going to watch the show being filmed soon and I am sooooooo excited. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to Noel in my life! Has anyone else been and if so what's it like? Is it really exciting?
By the way, if I get the chance I will ask him what the little thing on his hand is!

Hi Debbie!
Yes Iv been to the show and Im going again next week! It is soooo surreal! When you get into the studio (after the talk and refreshments) you just kinda sit and stare as you wont believe your there! Noel comes out right before the show is filmed and says a quick hello and an update of the game so far! He doesnt look real! Haha! Very smart and just how you'd expect though! You will have a great time! The atmosphere is amazing in there and you can see for yourself how close and family/knit all the players are!

Also, you wont recognise any of the players!!! I expected to see Lucy and Marcus when I went, but instead I saw a bunch of fresh faces! Its filmed quite far in advance!

Are you going to a daytime filming or an evening one? If you go on the evening, you'll watch TWO shows! Im watching a Satnight show next week, cantwait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am only going to see one show as I am a terrible driver and am too scared to drive home in the night! Sad or what?! I am really excited though. What day are you going?
Do you have to get there early to get seats in the front or is it all pre assigned?

Remember if you drive into bristol from the M4, you got several speed cameras along that road (M32)

I think its next Thursday..... which means il be watching a Saturday and a Monday night show! No you dont have to get there early, they take you into another area to talk to you and stuff first, then they lead the family and friends people in first so they can sit them in the allocated spaces, then they ask everyone else to follow them and they tell you where to sit in small groups.... you may not sit with your party of people but they do try to sit you where they can.... also if your wearing darker clothes they sit you where the cameras are filming!!!! I got told to sit on the end of the row!!!

il warn you now though, the camera comes RIGHT UP INTO YOUR FACE, its hard to get used to at first cause you just wana laugh but its ok as soon as the game starts as you get into it then!

debbie you will have to clap like the clappers - guaranteed your hands will be red and swollen.if you get to sit behind the chair in the front row you will definitely be on t.v and a star.also if you want to be seen keep getting up if they ask for the audience opinion -always say no deal.

look no further than the mirror

Thanks Spikey! Good luck for your auditions on Friday. I hope they go well for you both. You both sound fab on here so you should get on no problem. Smile Don't forget to let us know what happens and if you suddenly disappear then we know to start looking out for you. I think we should arrange a signal just in case. Take something weird as a good luck charm so we know it's you.

P.S. If you get a chance tell them to give me an audition too and then I can knock around with you in the hotel!

Noel and I have one thing in common - we have both met Debbie Harry and Chris Stein from the pop group "Blondie". I have a HUGE collection of their recordings and other stuff including a VHS tape of his interview on "Swap Shop". You probably won't get to speak to him but if you do, please pass on my eternal thanks to him for doing that interview, because he made it so much fun to watch.
