I have emailed the C4 Team a few weeks ago asking for a winners list to be sent to me as I am just interested how many winners there have been from the phone lines and from web entries, is there anything you can help me with?

It saves you a ton of time and I reccomend everyone gets it to save time and effort

I am currently doing all my entries for tommorows show as I wont have time tommorow due to footy

How are you managing that, Frankie? I can only post entries an hour or so before the show starts, not the day before.

I have just managed to get thru twice after trying 30 times, it was my last 2 go's! Was beginning to think that I wasnt going to get thru.
I am not sure how Frankie can get thru either as I have tried about 2 hours before the show and cannot get thru, it tells you that the lines are not open yet. I always do it about an hour before as I find when the show is on, it is really difficult to get thru and it ends up crashing too!

I use to get 10/15 successful entrys but now i get through every day sometimes just once but i did get 7 web entrys through last tuesday.
but DOND is getting very popular lots of forums i visit are now chatting about it & doing it so i expect that is making it more diffecult to get through.
I read on another forum that DOND had said to them no entrys are counted if done before the graphics although you get sorry or congradulations only entry during the game count.

If you just right click above the text saying "sorry...etc" and select rewind from the menu, the flash applete will be moved back to the menu and you can just submit it again.

Be careful to click above the text otherwise it wont work.

I usually get on about 2-5 times a day, fingers crossed.

I have just tried the web entry at 10am today..and it said that the lines were closed, please try during the show.

When I try during the show, when I send an entry, it just hangs for ages saying....waiting. This is no use as I like to enjoy watching the show, not sitting trying to enter things on the pc all the time.

By the way...probably due to length of time it takes for window to finish task, I probably on can achieve 3 submissions of the form during the length of the show, and none of my entries have been successful

It's still closed now, at 12.45. When I tried the other day about an hour before the show, the lines were open.

I usually start at about 4pm - i only enter once as it usually takes 20-30 goes. Does anyone actually try the phone lines? Whats the point when web entry is free?

thanks DONDK for the filler its fab!!! dont seem to be getting as many successfuls as i used to. Thinks is possibly due to the success of the show and the number of people now trying to get through! anybody agree?

I can get on to enter after 3pm I tend to do it before countdown starts

No disrespect to you, Frankie Gallagher, but I was wondering where you got the info about it being OK to enter before the show. The T&Cs definitely say: "4. Participation is only possible during the hours of broadcast of Deal Or No Deal and Channel 4 reserves the right to close the methods of entry while the show is off air." which leaves me wondering if I'm wasting my 3 o'clock entries as they may not count even though some get on to the shortlist. I tried emailing them about this but got no reply, so maybe you had better luck and got the info from somewhere and I'd really like to know if it's official.

hi andy there is a guy called ashers23 telling the forum on 06/03/06 that he has been selected for the show,yetonly yesterday he was asking where applications can be found can you put us all straight and let us know if people that went to the bristol auditions have been informed if they are on the show

30 web entries max? I think you be pretty quick to get 30 entries in. Some of the time nothing happens after you click submit.

I usually find that if it sticks on wait, it stays like that forever, so I start again.

What I do is, as soon as I send the entry, I shrink it, and open up another one, etc, I do this about 5 times, then, when the "Sorry" comes up, click on win cash and go again. sometimes, at the end of the show, 2 or 3 still say "Waiting". Sometimes, I get through straight away.

2 successful entries today out of 30, rewind was a big help, saved having to fill the form in all the time

I have been entering the online competition now since around Late November. And have yet to win. Though I appreciate that this is a VERY popular viewer competition, so the chance of being picked at random are actually very slim.

Can you please tell me though, why is it that about 90% of the time the viewers competition are won by people from the Midlands, Northern England, and Scotland? Rarely it seems does anyone further South than Birmingham ever win. It just doesn't seem right.

Also, just how big is the daily "shortlist" of entrants?

And why does the deal@channel4.com email address mentioned on the programme, in fact not exist?

Nice to see that C4 producer Andy cares about the people on here that he can be bothered to give an answer.

It's a premium rate phone in number that is only there to guarantee income for Endemol. As somebody asked for a list of winners, I agree it would be interesting to examine just to see how many people did win from web entries. I predict very few.

i got 7 successful entries out of 30 today and all in under 3 mins, i only had the wait for a few seconds on the first try and then when i rewound it went through straight away, i can't believe it, marcus must be giving out good vibes to the nation
