these questions have come up before. I read somewhere that the 30 attempts warning has not been shown from the start of this series.Don't know the answer to the 2nd question, members have e.mailed to the bosses all have said they haven't had a reply. |

I have a few questions about the web entry, since I've not been successful ONCE...
1. I know some online entries are successful and some aren't, but HOW? What determines if you are successful or not? Is it just a random yes or no? Is it a postcode lottery? The FAQ doesn't answer this. I can understand people using the phone needing to get through when someone is free to answer, but that problem shouldn't exist online, right?
2. What steps are channel 4 taking to improve their website so people can enter without getting the "sorry we're busy" page every time?
3. When are channel 4 going to add the option of listening to a voice recording of the 5 letter code? People with visual problems might have trouble using the site.

 I never seem to be get many congrats these days but don't get "sorry we're busy" either. Maybe you should contact Channel 4 and see what the problem is. |

I never seem to be get many congrats these days but don't get "sorry we're busy" either. Maybe you should contact Channel 4 and see what the problem is.
i feel something has changed as i used to get an average of 5 congrats per day, 2 days this week i have had none, maybe there are more people trying now is my theory. |

Nephrite I'll try and answer your questions but I should point out that I am not a member of the Channel 4 staff ! Each of us gets '30 attempts' and (in my recent experience) you will be successful between 0 and 6 times. I presume it is 'random'. Postcode MAY be relevant but (if it was) they are unlikely to tell you ! I do not understand your 'sorry were busy page' problem as I have NEVER seen this ? Your question regarding the 'voice recording of the 5 letter code' I cannot answer ... to be honest I cannot see WHY it was ever introduced ... it did NOT appear in the early stages of the program. (Although I have to say that if you have visual problems you probably should use the phone option ... but please be aware of the cost ?!) Regards, CRPKENT |

Hi, i have been trying to enter by the free web entry, but were the form used to come up it now says Not Supported Method,has anyone else got this? thank you for ya help, dizzy

Who?-like me sits there entering the comp.while the show is on-but never really gets to watch the show?? as the only time you really start looking up at the screen is around 8box,when it comes up the comp. is closed!!-an I right??.
Would be handy if noel,said like on other comps . That the lines are now closed-or only so long left to enter?
Someone should invent a way of having programe playing(as background)on your computer-so you can watch it as you entre-would it not? Si.

Hiys simplesimon, I used to find that happened to me every day, so now I do my entries before the show comes on, that way I get to watch it all and they aren't as busy. But that is a good idea to have the show as a background on your comp.

I have just gone to do what you do rosebud and see if I could get some entries in now and it says that the competition is closed and won't be open until 3pm, is that normal or is it a new thing?

You clearly don't watch it because you are always told when the lines are closed..........do the web entry at 3pm and you will be in time to watch the show.
