Ok I entered 29 times today to make sure I don't go over 30 and got 4 congrats!

Well done peaches. I never allow myself to go over the 30 entries, 'cos I think if you do your previous are invalidated. I might be wrong about that, but I'm sure I read it somewhere. Incidentally i also got 4 today. Good luck

I think (and this is only a guess) that when the 'competition is closed' message comes on this is the 'start of the next day' which goes on until (I think 9.00pm) ... at 3.00pm the following day it continues until the 'competition is closed message' ... so, If I am right, you get about 5.5 hrs in total to get your 30 entries in ? ... what I want to know is what if I enter 50 times per day in 3 consectutive days ... does that mean I can't enter at all for the following 2 days ? ... or perhaps it accepts only 30 entries for the 1st day and 'invalidates' the other entries ... by invalidates I mean you will go into the draw but if you win you not get the prize money !

Hi CRPKENT. I agree with you. It is very confusing. There have been so many questions about this particular subject, I don't understand why Channel 4 don't answer this question clearly. They DO read these posts don't they ?

Yeah I agree, I think its sad that we have no proof of who the winners are, all we have is a name and place at the end of a show. It would be good if any of those winners lets us know they do exist and have won by web entry etc. but thyen again I suppose anyone (not very nice ) could say they have. What we need is proof lol!!!

Lets start a petition lol FYI my girlfriend actually does the entering most of the time so if you see J**** G****** coming up from Hertford or last name Peach then it's us lol

I think the reason they removed the 'you have exceeded your 30 entries for today' message was because it didn't work ... that is some people found ways to continue without getting the message ... so now they leave the 'responsibility' with us for checking the number of entries with the 'implication' that they may/can invalidate them if you exceed 30 attempts.

I agree that with so many questioned unanswered particularly on competion entries, the editor should set up a forum where our questions could be answered.

Not many people. At least with DOND the web entry is free so, hopefully, no-one is getting ripped off!

People have posted on here about being winners so that side of it must be ok.
There`s no way I`d use the phone for any of these comps, especially the ones that say you`ve won a wonderful prize.I think if I`ve won all that why don`t they send it.

Morning lilypop. Those are exactly my sentiments too!

If I get one of those phone calls, like you have won a holiday, conservatory or kitcken etc, I just tell them to put the cheque in the post. Never received any yet.

I've read that the ICSTIS found the entry of viewers comp was unfair and that a winner was picked from the first ten minutes, second ten minutes and third ten minutes and then one of those three winners was picked as the actual winner. Does this mean the entries before the show weren't counted? Or does that mean that all the entries from before the show starts get clumped with the first ten minutes?

The website now says "Remember you can enter each days competition at anytime between when the competition opens during the programme and 11pm that evening"

How can we remember something they hadn't previously told us ???

Does this mean you now cannot enter until the programme starts? My computer is in another part of the house from the TV - so now I can't enter AND watch.

And if I wait and enter later I've missed today's chance.

This is what I think, but I may be wrong.
Any entries before lines close[ I`m assuming lines will close as usual for today]will be in today`s prog. Any after that will be for tomorrow`s game. It`s a nuisance not being able to get entries early today.

I think it just means that today's entries (provided they are after the show ends) will go into tomorrow's Show ... that means you have from 5.00pm to 11.00pm to 'get your entry in' ? ... perhaps they will explain more on Today's Show.
