11 pm seems such an odd deadline.

When it closes at 11.00pm the Winner is picked and displayed on your TV screen at the very beginning of the next Show ... watch carefully because it only appears for about 6 seconds !

I have no idea when they contact the Winner but my guess would be within 'hours'.

I would imagine they contact the winner the next morning.

I read somewhere,recently,sorry can't remember the thread, (craft moment )someone won at Xmas, & their name came up on the screen then they got the phone call. I'm assuming it was soon after they saw their name on the screen. Hope this helps

Whats going on. The Postcode field is gone, the date of birth selection boxes are gone, the email address field is gone, and i've managed to get 30 successfull entries. They must have pushed the application live without testing it, if you develop a web application the general stages are design, test and then deploy, however i got in and it's not my fault, it's their mistake and cannot exclude me from the competition

You may be right but at least we have less to enter now ... I am also a bit surprised that they are still allowing '30 entries' ... I only saw about 10 minutes of the program but didn't I hear them say the results would be announced on next Sunday's programme ? ... i.e. not tomorrows ... I also see they have added a 'postal entry' (hence them declaring the result next week I guess) ... but will this happen tomorrow as well (i.e. every Show from now on) ?

I have always believed that they have had 'problems' counting the entries so perhaps they think they will be more accurate if they can take a week ?

Noel said postal entries had to have date written on back and arrive within 3 days, also that todays winner (Sun 2nd) would be announced next Saturday. All my entries are being accepted, about 10 at the moment. I think we will have wait to see what transpires.

WOW!!!! they've certainly made a few changes today.I'm not sure I like them. Every entry I've done so far has got through, it doesn't seem quite right. I've got 12 so I don't think I'll try for any more, & what's this about having to click if we want to receive mail from Channel 4. Does this mean if we don't agree we'll have less chance of winning ?

I think you will find that message has always been there ... it was shown on the screen prior to you 'clicking' the retry message ?

I agree with you marica.art but I have also noticed that the Website is not 'closed' at 11.00pm (it was still open with the Form at 11.30pm last night and again this morning at 7.30am) ... perhaps we can get our entries in at any time now ?

I notice you don't have to enter your e.mail address, only if you want promotional information. If you don't do this every time does it mean if you win there wold be no e.mail confirmation or can they trace your e address from your on line entry.

I think that when you have completed the form and pressed enter you are then asked whether you want to be notified by Email ? ... I presume that if you don't complete this (which I didn't) you are contacted by phone ... if you win of couse !
