I've had the same problems today - my very first attempt came back as "Exceeded limit", as did several others interspersed with mostly unsuccessfuls (along with a couple of successfuls!). This makes me very suspicious actually - I'm now wondering whether the replies are just sent competely randomly and are not in fact a genuine indication of whether or not you've actually been successful in getting an entry accepted! Do Channel 4 look at these message boards? If so, can they reassure us that the whole thing's not just a huge con?? (This is my first ever post by the way - hello everyone!)

Hello to you FW I should think the web entry thing is totally automatic run by a special program (and you know what they can be like) so, no need to feel like you're a special victim, there would be NO reason for anyone to single you (or anyone else) out for unfair treatment would there now? I think you'll find that Ch4 have some appointed Mods who look here and there but probbly don't get to see EVERY post!

Same problems here! I gave up using explorer and now Mozilla seems to be working for me, still can't get a successful entry though 
you're so pretty when you're unfaithful to me

I only use Mozilla but still had problems - first try got 5 before exceeded message, then 11 and finally another 9 but no idea if they've really gone through at all!

It's not that I think they're singling anyone out - just that the automatic program may send meaningless random replies (as regards whether or not your entry has been successful) just to make us think we're in with a chance. I'm still suspicious that web entries don't have the same chance as telephone entries...
Oops have just realised I've done a dozy thing - borrowed my daughter's nickname for my Display Name (because I couldn't think of one in a hurry) but I'd better think up a different one, otherwise any of her friends reading this will think it's her... Duh! Better go and change it quick... You can tell I'm new to all this!

Awwww, you're just like all women, suspicious!!  Not sure how you're gonna get on with a name change, most forums I've been in don't allow it and you have to start again with a new identity altogether.

i did post a thread in the bbc forums pages - and one of the ppl who wrote in response claims to have won on the programme through web entry she says she won the top prize too assuming she is not lying - it proves that web entry is valid and has the ability to win the only thing i am wondering about is how many are accepted - it is obviously a lot more than the 30 limit through the phone line because ppl are getting up to 12 congrats a day and my max is 8 so surely this mean that being one of the lucky 30 on the phone might mean zero because you could still be one of hundreds entered

Each time I have done 3 entries it tells me I have exceeded my 30 entries. Anyone else have this problem

I just filled in the web entry form for the first time in about three weeks and got a message saying I've exceeded the maximum number of entries. Is there something wrong with the web entry?

I saw this question a few pages back - sorry to sort of hijack the discussion! it's not the water that has the date - it's the bottle. Plastic bottles are constantly degrading and will not be safe to drink from after the date that's printed on it. Every time you drink liquid from a plastic bottle you are actually getting a small amount of plastic in your drink as it erodes constantly and is carried by the liquid.  |
