I missed a few seconds but I gather he lost his wife after the birth of their second child due to unexpected complications. He was also diagnosed, himself, with kidney failure but has since received a new kidney.
I was a bit concerned when Jo was egging him on with the "you can get more than £7k" speech and I bet she was so relieved when he did deal at £13k.
Was it me or was there a point when Jo was shown applauding and it seemed she was wearing a dark outfit (as against the pink strappy top she was wearing in the rest of the show)?

aww that's a sad story. im glad he dealt when he did.
but that jo infuriated me!! i was yelling at her to shut her trap, i really dont like her or her needless opinions. i was actually hoping she had the £250,000 so she felt guilty. but it wouldnt of been fair on tony.
i hope jo wins 1p when it's her game. she's obviously greedy.

You're right Kaledmutant, i also don't wish Jo a bad result. However, yesterday I was screaming at her to shut her mouth and stop influencing Tony so much.
