to deal at theit lowest offer..."
I have noticed Noel say this....and (obviously) he knows the stats and its actually correct.
The last time someone dealt at their lowest offer was Namfon: £10,000. She had offers of £19,000 and £26,000. Her game was about 2-3 months ago!

Missed that : the prove out is another charade :
Vitually all players pick at random - since the order in which you choose is as important as the box you choose there is no guarantee ( with the utmost sincerity ) the post deal order would be the same as the in-play order - all hypothetical
as is the bankers post deal offers ( with the utmost sincerity ). Yet everyone appears to take it seriously -

"Not I said the little red hen"

I don't believe the post deal offers reflect the board much of the time as it is TV and therefore the aim would be to make it seem the player has lost out. A simple ploy on the part of the banker to satisfy the image created for him that he is thoroughly nasty and uncaring of the various contestants.

As for the play out after the deal "the future is not written yet" and therefore the order could be subtly changed. The only immutable part of the play out would be a player admitting before the DEAL that a certain box would be kept until the end. If no admission of this nature is made the individual can choose a totally different order to play out the remaining boxes. What this cannot affect is the money amount in their box on the Pound Table, unless the banker poses the SWAP or NO SWAP dilemma even though the game has been declared over at the DEAL point.

An offer to swap after a deal would be the ultimate absurdity -
The Missing Card Mystery episode was generally believed to be a hoax even by the fans - but
they still Believe !! Faith can move mountains

But by game rules if the last two figures in the game include the £250k then the Swap is obligatory whether the game is live or not. So technically it can still occur. Our resident stats fans should be able to fill in whether this has actually happened ………………

Faith might appear to move mountains but dynamite would do a much better job!

when the £250k is in play, there is a guranteed swop!
However, when a person has dealt, they seem not to do bother swopping but they did on January '07 on Bunnies game, when he dealt at £110,000 he said he would have swopped, and they actually swopped it for him (when he dealt) and he then brought it to the table.
However, on Nicola's game, she said she would swop for box 22, they didnt bother swopping it for her as she dealt, and the £250k was in play at this point too!
