Thats not true I'm afraid - they are not accepting applications from 'just anyone'. I applied two weeks ago, was auditioned last week and will be on the show in two weeks time. They are desperate to boost ratings, and hence are only accepting applications from colourful characters to get people watching again. You need to be adventerous in your application, thats all Wink

(and no, I'm not telling you how I managed it Wink )

Thats not true I'm afraid - they are not accepting applications from 'just anyone'. I applied two weeks ago, was auditioned last week and will be on the show in two weeks time. They are desperate to boost ratings, and hence are only accepting applications from colourful characters to get people watching again. You need to be adventerous in your application, thats all Wink

Uhmmm...I just checked the DOND site, and I saw they already closed the applications yesterday. I missed it. I am not lucky at all Crying

SmileI am happy, because my husband told me he nominated me on DOND for Christmas. I had no call yet, but sometimes I think it's all fixed.
They already know who going to be on DOND before you can apply for it. Anyway we see!!! Wink

How did you manage that, Malkie ? I checked on the home page before I posted the reply to Ally and they were definitely not accepting applications at the time, except for the xmas show. Do you know something the rest of us don`t ? Confused

Good for you legs2030.I've never heard of that happening before. Go for it. & Good luck with it. I know that 3 people nominated me for the Christmas show,but I've heard nothing so far.Don't expect to hear anything at this late date,but we live in hope.I expect they have had millions of nominations,so those who get picked are very lucky.Hope you are one of them Big Grin Thumbs Up By the way welcome to the forum,we're a friendly bunch on here. I had an application in my inbox aswell this morning! Its very different from the one I filled in last year, they want you to answer lots of funny things but I cant say what just in case I jeopordise my application!
But put it this way, you need to be very inventive I think!

My kids nominated me for the christmas show,but like many others I havent heard anything.BUT I have recieved an apllication to fill out and attatch a photo.Whats that all about????

Like a couple of you i also applied months ago after being in the audience and enjoying the experience. Had not heard anything up to 2 days ago when i was sent a email with an attached application and request for photo! The form is very different!!!!! I am very excited and can't wait to c if this is a step nearer to a chance to show them me stuff at an audition!!!!
