Just listening to a prog about the huge amount of money being made by getting people to call in with answers to quizzes. They found one person who had been employed to take calls - 70,000 calls - one person !!! - and they had on occasions instructed him not to answer the phone at all. Therefore the callers would just get the answer message 'sorry you've not been chosen this time' etc etc and had paid 75p or £1 for the privilege. I will NEVER phone in again (not that I did often) This will be deleted soon I am sure.
I used to phone in all the time before we got the 'puter and my phone bill was huge. Just got to face the fact I'm not gonna win ten grand, I'm always going to be skint and I'm never going to cop off with Ewan McGregor.
