hey guys big big fan of Deal or no deal and ive just sent off my application for the show. Anyone have any ideas how long you have to wait to see if you get a call for an audition?? Or even what sort of people they are looking for? hope your all well guys

From reading the replies of people in the know on here (ie previous contestants) it can take up to a year and a long rather than a short wait is not uncommon.

What are they looking for - someone who will make great telly

Matt i applied in 2006 and 4 months later i got a call for an audition....a year later i'm still waiting for the call to go on the show but i'm not giving up yet as some people have waited 18 months... wishing you all the luck in the world

I had to wait for about 18 months in total before i got in the studio. Sit tight and forget about it, then when the call comes you will jump for joy!

thanks for all your relpies even the not so positive ones. Cant belive some people had to wait that long for a call, seems crazy. but atleast i know ive got a long wait ahead of me - if i even get one. i have a horrible feeling one of my answers will count agaisnt me

Quite the opposite. I'm improving his chances by telling him the type of people they're looking for, which is what he asked.
