I've just discovered this forum which in a most narcissistic way coincides with my run of appearances of DOND. Hope you all take it easy on me when it comes to my game in a week or so!! It was a wonderful experience and I made a couple of great friends that I'm still in touch with now. Great to see the show has so many genuine fans.
P.S. I think you are Mandy because you posted somewhere (which I can't find now ) what Mandy's job is and I don't think someone else would do that on her behalf.

Don't know how many other threads you've got round to reading but there are loads of people on this forum who have applied and are waiting to hear, so you are in a very enviable position of having been a contestant. Goes without saying you enjoyed the experience?
He was very evasive about what bhappened to his thumb, he kept telling the audience that one day he would tell the story behind it but as far as I can remember, he never did. Probably a bit of DIY lol.
I can't see Noel doing his own DIY! And he would have made a joke if it was an accident. My guess is it's a whitlow, and infection around the nail. Not macho so not to be spoken about!
Well I was thinking it may be vanity related, knowing Noel. He could have clamped it on eyelash curlers, or burnt it on hair tongs or something. Or caught it in a zip, his or somebody else's The possibilities are endless.
