I'm with Carol Vorderman on the subject of Shakespeare. I've watch plays live in Stratford-On-Avon three times in my life and also tried to read from "Complete Works" while watching the relevant film, but still don't understand anything he says.

Get a book called Tales from Shakespeare by Charles and Mary Lamb,it tells the story in easy form.I went to see A Midsummer nights dream in Stratford and after reading the book it all made sense. Also I am quite literate!!

Thanks for the tip, if I see the book anywhere I'll check it out, but to be honest I'm not interested enough to hunt for it. I only went to the plays because of the job I had at the time.
