Okay, okay!! It was on another DOND forum where they have threads of support for each player and it becomes like a fan club. On the Emma Fan Club thread both Angela and Troy made it clear that they were NOT fans of Emma but there didn't seem to be any explanation from either of them as to why they disliked Emma. Does anyone recall what Emma had in her box during each of their games? Maybe she had the £250k and they felt agrieved about that?? Confused

That cant be true, whern Angela had a heartbreaking blue finish, they did a close up in Emma, who was also sad...
I think Emma had the biggie in troys game...not Angelas.

Thanks DOND_#1_FAN. Then I have no idea why Angela and Troy were both so unfriendly in the other forum, will go and have another look. Wave

Okay, it seems the antagonism came due to the behavior of Emma's pal and something that happened after Emma's game. This is intriguing to me as both Angela and Troy would have left before Emma's game was played (both have left and Emma is still there!). No other contestants have participated in the discussion so I cannot tell whether others found Emma, in any way, annoying. I still think she is a pretty lass.

Hi All,

I found Emma and her friends to be lovely, friendly affable people, it certainly wasn't aparent that there were any problems between her and Angela/Troy. having said that when there is such a large group of people together you never get to know everything that is going on.

Perhaps Angela and Troy managed to keep it hidden from everyone else, especially if Emma was popular?

We'll probably never find out. There is such a big difference in personalities on that show so there must be a time when people have issues with each other. It's human nature.

Emma will probably come over very well when she plays her game but that doesn't necessarily mean that Troy and Angela are in the wrong. You need to know someone personally to know their true personality.

Well put, hemlockharry. People on TV (whether they are celebs or members of the public) are just unknowns. I'm not someone who will be nasty to people I see on TV as a rule and I would far rather be complimentary by saying how gorgeous a girl is (like Rachel, Joey, Siobhan or Nic) which is why I might appear shallow at times! Definatley going into the whole of fame for the earliest deal which infact was the best decision, no-one has even done it and also, the only women to equal the longest all blue run!

well done on her £17,000...my mu was like "Nah! Shes got more in her box" and then at the end, she said "Oh, well...shes lucky!" I couldnt stop laughing!

Well, Emma played today and I have to say that I am delighted for her and it seems there may be a real case of heterophobia on Troy and Angela's part (as they seemed to accuse Emma of homophobia). This pretty, young lass comes out to the Pound Table and shows a very caring side to her nature with regard to her charity work and what she hopes to achieve in the Dream Factory. She has one of the most amazing starts to her game (despite the loss of the £250k in the first box) and then, after a lot of soul searching and careful consideration, deals at the third offer even though the remaining Power Five are still in play!! She takes £17k and is rewarded by the fact that at no time during the rest of her game would she have had any higher offers or amounts. She even manages to sell a 99p wand for £8.5k!!! And then get it back, free of charge!!!!!

She played the game with good sense and a real amount of charm. I did detect there was a lack of direct contact with the wings (at one point she apologised for not thanking each of the box openers) but I still felt there was a real warmth for her. Troy and Angela have said that the incident happened since the game and yet I feel, personally that Emma would not have been rude to them in the way Troy claimed. IMHO Emma played the perfect game for her own needs and remembered the cardinal rule in the Dream Factory: don't gloat or diss the banker until the deal is done and victory won!!

In comparison between Angela's and Emma's games I can only say that Emma comes over as the far nicer and more genuine person of the two and I wish her every happiness and success with the winnings and hope that it helps her to achieve her charitable ambitions.

As Noel says to the players at the start of their games: "GOOD LUCK, EMMA!" Thumbs Up Nod

But, I think your being unfair to Angela, she played the game the way she wanted...she must have declined it for a reason.
Yeah, greed took over her, but who are any of us to judge her?!?!?

Hi DOND_#1_FAN, Maybe a bit judgemental on Angela (something I don't like to be) but considering the bad press Emma has received on the other side NinjaI can't help feeling a small amount of resentment towards Angela and Troy for their treatment of Emma there. It would be lovely to have Emma come here and state her side of things but Troy reckons she is unlikely to do that.

I may sound a bit like gamesman and the rationalist by saying Angela didn't really deserve to win big, and I haven't said that, but she did seem to have expectations of more than the game offered her and her collapse when it didn't go her way was, IMHO, very telling about her character. Emma, on the other hand, gave very careful consideration to her accepted offer and convincingly beat the banker due to her level-headedness.

Reading hemlockharry's comment again in this thread I still liked Emma, found her very pretty and wish her all the very best. I don't know her personally, and never will, but I still like her. Simple as that.

Oh, im sorry if I offended you! I thought you were being like that. But, I understand where you are coming from...But, you have to look at both sides, but I am not siding with anyone! I am just giving a balanced/non biased view.
