I totally agree, it was not necessary for Noel to shout the way he did, is this the other side of Noel we don't usually see, oooooh!!!!

I didn't see this one (it's on tape) but I find it hard to believe that Noel was deliberately rude or showing another side. If it was meant in any other way than a joke it would have been edited out surely? Will watch it later.

Hi Hemlock
Admittedly Noel was delivering a msg from the banker but it seemed like it was done in a really nasty way and the guy looked shocked and upset, I felt terrible for him.
But I will let you judge for yourself.

For some reason the game had an aggressive tone to it from early on. I can't remember if it was at the first or second offer that Noel shouted something down the phone at the banker which I thought was unusual and unnecessary.

Hi Posh I missed the start actually (had to let the kids watch the Simpsons as I was making them watch footie later on ) maybe Noel was having a rough day and just wasn't in the mood.

Hi H Sounds like there's deals going on in your house too!

Yes, my kids are certainly as ruthless as the Banker too.

I think the reason for the aggressive tone and the messing about with the offers , was apparently Alex had said he wanted a 'scrap' with the banker. This seems to have influenced the tone of the show.

Pleased to see on todays show Greg the lad Noel shouted at yesterday, answered "I'm keeping my mouth shut" when Noel asked his opinion. Do you think this was a dig back at Noel.

First post here, so "Hi All", I do think it was a dig back at Noel, and quite right. Edmonds should have never shouted in the man's face like that yesterday

Noel went over the top on this occassion by shouting in Greg's face. It showed a side of Noel which is a bit unsavoury and unnecessary. Also some of his double entendre leaves a bit to be desired.
Dont worry. Be happy.

I'm glad Greg got a dig back at Noel today. Noel showed a little of his true colours yesterday and they weren't very nice, although as Posh said earlier, the whole tone of the show yesterday was aggressive.

I'v been a fan of Noel for years, since he was on breakfast show on radio 1. But i have to say i too was shocked and disgusted at the way he spoke to Greg, he looked so upset, I can only hope that when it's Gregs time to play he wins a huge amount of money to compensate for the way he was spoken to.

I agree with you, there was absolutely no reason for Noel to shout like that, albeit repeating what the banker said.

I've watched the show now. I do think people have slightly over-reacted about this. Noel didn't really shout, slightly raised voice I would say. Noel actually said that it was a message from the Banker and said "So don't swing out at me". It's all part of the Banker's nasty 'act'. That's just my opinion of course.

Hmmm think you must have been watching with the sound turned down Harry. Everyone can make mistakes and this is one Noel made, IMO. Let's hope he doesn't repeat it.

I couldn't agree more, rosebud. Greg seems quite a sensitive guy and was obviously upset by what happened. The other contestants have also been pretty quiet since and I think Noel has realised he went too far. Does anyone actually remember what Greg said to make the Banker so angry?

I totally agree rosebud! But even after Noel tried to introduce Greg back into the game, it wasnt until Mark approached Greg and said dont worry you are talking to me, that Greg relaxed and gave his opinion......I really hope now that Greg can enjoy the rest of his stay at dond, I wouldnt be surprised if the production team have tried to remedy the wrong that was done! You go Greg and spank that banker!!!
