What a shame he had such bad luck. Often I think people deserve what they get when they refuse a good offer but I was very moved when he said 'I'm doing this for the team'. I really think thet came from the heart.
And a 3k offer at 2 box with 20k left!!! That must be one of the poorest offers ever at that stage.
Finally 10/10 for Simmo and his wife because ,despite their tears they were very dignified. What a nice bloke

I was so sure he had the 20k in his box. I was really upset for him when he had the 10p. He was such a nice bloke.

I was suprised that he declined 16,000, it's a lot of money and considering which way some games have gone.....does anyone know why he wanted the money as i missed a bit.
He was a really nice guy though and i felt really sorry for him. Frown

I thought he would deal aswell.
I wish he had won £20,000. If the minimum win was like £750, atleast it would be a small consellation...a nice nice out, but 10p?? Only good for a freddo or a tip top. Disappointed ....he was really brave to decline £3,000 and also, I BET if he dealt at the £16,000...and just say where he was offered £10,000....the banker would lie and say 'he would have offered £17-20k ...anyone else agree?

The reason the offer was so low was because there was only 10p in the other box. If the other box had been £1000 or £3000, it probably would've been at least double that amount.

With the highest amount being £20,000, the Banker would never offer £12,000 or £10,000!

Everyone is entitled to my opinion

Frown Simmo was a lovely man and I am sorry he ended up with 10p but after all it is a game of chance. How many people weep when their Lotto numbers don't come up and they have forked out a pound or two for their tickets? Roll Eyes

I suppose he was weeping with frustration - he had 16k offered to him for the taking just a short time earlier.

Poor Simmo his a nice man. His gone up to my hubby & shook his hand. I chatted to his brother. He looks just like Simmo, but has dark hair. The game made me cry a bit at the end. I so wanted him to win somethink big. I think its about time we have a big win game. come on big ron do it!

Yes I felt very sorry for Simmo, He seemed such a nice genuine person. I think it was nerves & frustration that got to him in the end. Good Luck Simmo. I hope you get a big win on the lottery Hug I'm also hoping that Big Ron can give that banker a good spanking Thumbs Up I don't think he'll stand for any nonsense. Nod Good Luck Ron Big Grin
